Hypertrade Consulting Co., Ltd. is a niche retail consulting company that supports leading retailers as well as brands and stores in South East Asia & the Middle East by developing strategies, working processes and tools as well as by developing competencies.

After achieving successful project implementations as Consultant & IT Manager I was promoted to the position of Solutions & Systems Manager and member of the company’s Leadership Team. This new department was formed to unite the company’s efforts in IT as well as client report delivery and included the supervision of 3 sub-business units, 15 people as well as responsibility for recruitment, budgets & innovation.

Main achievements in this position cover the setup of the Solutions & Systems business unit including department alignments, working process definition as well as recruitment. Furthermore a reduction in staff turnover was achieved and current clients expanded their scope of projects due to the Solutions & Systems team’s valuable insights delivered on time.

After finishing the Customer Service project hired to work in the consulting business unit which in October 2010 had 2 full time consultants staffed. During nearly 2 years engaged with the leading retailer in challenging Myanmar and worked on several projects in diverse areas with renewed contract values of US$ 500k. These areas cover the development & implementation of an integrated people management system as well as defining the strategy focus for the upcoming challenging years. In addition I supported our client in developing & implementing a pricing policy as well as accompanying working processes and organizational frameworks.
Furthermore I engaged to the leading Consumer Goods & Healthcare distributor in Thailand on a project to improve sales force effectiveness and brand plan development on an Asian regional scope.

During the Customer Service project I quickly took over additional responsibilities of IT Manager in charge as seeing the need for restructuring the company’s IT management & processes. Responsible for all IT matters of the company in Thailand and Vietnam.

Achievements cover the imitation of the company’s major report automation project as well as the streamlining of IT working processes & policies. Furthermore I implemented a company-wide CRM system.

During my assignment at DKSH I worked in the group reporting team of the Central Services Finance Department in Bangkok, Thailand.
My graduation project had the task of developing & implementing a management reporting tool that includes a specialized set of KPIs for DKSH Thailand’s business units.
In addition I offered my advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel by delivering MS Excel training and developing a global Accounts Receivables report.

As part of my trainee assignment in the Accounting & Financial Reporting department I worked on a daily basis on Invoicing, Accounts Receivables, Claim and Cash Flow Management.
In addition I worked independently on a project that assessed the company’s current Transfer Pricing Guideline alignment and the possible effects a non-alignment would have on daily operations. This also included giving recommendations in areas of possible improvement. With the help of my analysis the company was able to streamline its Transfer Pricing Guidelines and prepare for coming audits.

During my business studies students were motivated to found real companies that were financed by shareholders. Pro.Skin SC developed and distributed laptop accessories (laptop bag) that enabled its users to use laptops without taking it out of the bag even if the laptop was heating up. Due to the special design the laptop could be operated for several hours without overheating.

As Marketing & Event Manager it was my responsibility with the marketing team to develop the marketing strategy, develop the business plan and organize marketing campaigns and events. After a successful year of operation the company was able to payout a dividend and was liquidated as per guideline requested by the university.
